This past July, I was lucky enough to travel to Kenya with Blair for the second time. Like last time, I carted over a veritable arsenal of art-making tools to keep me drawing for 5 weeks, and though it was certainly a more streamlined kit than last time, I still didn’t use half of it. Contributing to this delinquency was the fact that I was actually working over there this time (see IBEIS project). Still, I managed to cull a few decent sketchbook paintings from a Moleskine full of false-starts and true-rubbish. Here they are.
